...Why Tank Armor...
Tank Armor was designed by a clever bloke from Queensland, Australia. "Cleppy", (to his mates) was like the rest of us, sick and tired of having the paintwork and steel tanks of his Harley peppered with stone chips and dents.
How many times have you been out for a ride when the bike in front, oncoming traffic or that guy with the hat in the green Volvo seem hell bent on throwing rocks at your much loved paint work..? As you know, the area affected most is the front face of those beautiful big gas tanks.
With so many bikes these days painted in Kandy & Pearl type paints, it makes sense to find some way to give the tanks protection. As you know, it's all but impossible to touch up and blend in stone chip damage with these fine types of paint. This means having to consider painting the whole tank again, then praying it matches the rest of the bike...and if your tanks are airbrushed the news just gets worse...
.....Well, Tank Armour is your answer.....

Tank Armor is manufactured from a clear, tough, flexible material called PMMA. Never heard of it..?
Maybe not, but can bet you've seen it.
...Windows in Police cars...
...Helmet lenses...
...Aircraft windows...
...Viewing ports and hulls in submersibles...
PMMA is more transparent than glass and super tough...You know the clear wall that saves you from eating the puck at the ice hockey match or the transparent wall that keeps the killer whale on his side of the glass at the marine park...
You guessed it...PMMA....
....So you can understand why we chose to use it to protect the paint work on your prized bike....
